Real Tools! Real Materials! Real Blueprints! Real Results!
HOW IT WORKS
Kids & Teens Add-On Project Packs
Among my favorite materials are a construction brick that came before Legos that are designed to build model houses. I’m also quite fond of anything that helps children learn scale model carpentry. For example there’s a company called Hands 4 Building.
We love our Engineering 4 Kids & Teens sets! Just finished the Windmill Project. The directions are so comprehensive my 4th-6th graders were able to be completely self- directed!
Woodworking has been a popular addition to our Practical Life area with Engineering 4 Little Hands. Using a miter box, hobby saw, basswood strips, blueprints and step-by-step printed instructions the children create two-dimensional geometric shapes. Offering children opportunities to work with real tools and real materials is crucial in the development of real life skills which in turn help build confidence and independence.
